Sr. Girls Volleyball
|
Last night, the senior girls, volleyball team faced Georgian Bay in the SCAA finals. The girls came out strong and dominated from the start. With some key serves from Chloe Pallister and Gracie Yakeley, the girls continued to force the opposing team to dump and tip, crushing their spirits along the way. Morgan French and Layla Jones-Ward picked up anything they could get their hands on. And between Paige, Gracie, Chloe, Lauren and Maya, our attacks were unstoppable. Congratulations to the senior girls for winning yet Another SCAA championship. Stay tuned for information about GB's next Thursday.

The boys battled all game to close the gap within 2 thanks to Takoda Pletts rebounding, Hayden Voungs stellar defence and Jacob Scarfs clutch free throws. With seconds left the juniors managed to score to tie the game and push overtime. In extra minutes GBD was no match for Kale Cherubins handles & Caden McFees scoring and big blocked shots.
